As many of you know, the end of the writer's strike is imminent and for me, it can't come soon enough. Please God, make life livable again with more episodes of The Office!!!! But before we get too excited, the writers' return to work will not mean instant TV veg-out. We still have months of waiting ahead of us while they get their shit together and remember how to be funny. In case you're desperate to know, all day today they've been releasing when you can expect to see episodes of your fave shows again. For me, it looks like no fun until April or May for shows like The Office, 30 Rock, and CSI . Right when I'm not at all caring about new TV. More bad news? A whole host of other shows won't be seeing the light of day until the fall. The fall??? That's right. 7 long months before any new Dirty, Sexy Money or Pushing Daisies. Sigh. Dying for new episodes of Scrubs? Well you're the worst off -- looks like the 4 remaining pre-strike episodes and the new episodes might not even air and instead go straight to DVD! Buy a whole season just to see what happens? Doubtful. Oh well, we all just may have to take up crochet and god forbid, read more books in the meantime. I hear the weather's nice in the spring too -- guess we'll all find out.
