april showers, and showers, and showers...
This morning was a sure sign that Spring has sprung. We headed to work in a full-blown rainstorm so bad that Marc had to come back and pick up the car due to a flooded footpass that takes us under a railyard. Then in true Northern fashion, at the end of the day we were politely reminded that Spring doesn't spring until Winter says so and we went home in a borderline blizzard. Nevertheless, the warmer it gets the more soakers I'm getting because I don't own proper/super cute rainboots. These are some of my faves lately. God bless J Crew and their critter wellies -- the elephants are pretty much irresistible for me. And the Coach ones -- well they're just plain old great.

LOVE JCrew's wellies! I've wanted a pair for the longest time, but had been waiting for the right ones to come along. Finally bought some really cute ones this past winter (i.e., yellow tartan plaid print from JCrew's Winter 2007 collection). Got them on sale in fact, which was even better! ;-)
So, which ones are your favorites out of all of the ones you've pictured here?! ;-) So did you end up buying a pair for yourself yet?
Wellies are such a great basic. And JCrew makes them in such bright & exciting colors & patterns. It's so exciting to find essential pieces which are so cute & easy to wear!
