Congrats!!

Big news for Big City Kelly!! Congrats on your new job! I hope the City of Brampton knows how you like your lattes. I know you probably got a lot done during your old 4 hour daily commutes but you're just going to have to get used to a mere 20 minutes. Do I need a new name for you though now that you're not going to be in the rat race of downtown Toronto on a daily basis? Kelly of the Burbs? Suburbia Kelly? Big Burb Kelly?

Aw, thanks darlin... while the thought of being "Suburbia Kelly" is a mite depressing, the thought of saving 2.5 hours a day in commute time and hopefully soon having a dog more than makes up for it.

Next step - actually finding a job back in Sudbury. Work on that for me, OK?

Hey we're hiring a Communications Intern if you wanna take a ginormous pay cut and lie about your age...

I'm not so sure I can pass for 21 these days (I seem to be getting wrinkles, though I defiantly refer to them as "laugh lines" and insist they give me character), but maybe if I ply Dennis with tequila he'll just "forget" how old I am?

And then to save money, Steve and I and our non-existent dog will move in with you and Marc, and the boys can do all the chores while we watch America's Next Top Model, eat bonbons and buy shoes.

well you only have to be under 30 which you can totally do. As for everything else, I'm SO on board. the boys will be thrilled!

I've only been 30 for two months. I'm pretty sure I can swing 29 7/8 years old or something.

The boys WILL be excited. They can play rock band with their drums and their banjo and their gee-tars and can talk about all the great shows and parties they went to when they were teenagers and you and I were in fifth grade. Those were the days, I hear!
