Notes this week

  • when Luscious Jackson meets the Breeders you get Dusty Trails -- please make another record;
  • I want Ken Whiteley to be my drunk uncle who takes out his banjo at family parties;
  • Dragonette was a very wise career choice by Martina Sorbara;
  • Listening to this Weakerthans song is like having all your childhood pets die all at once all over again. This song makes you sad forever. Not many people know that there are additional lyrics to that song that didn't make it onto the cd. They are as follows: "And then you found me and took me home and everything worked out amazing for everyone."

How much do I wish that "virtute" ended with those lyrics instead of breaking my poor little heart with "I can't remember the sound that you found for me"

And we need to listen to Dusty Trails this weekend - I'm soooo excited by this!
