weekend round-up

This weekend can be summed up in one word - CLEANING.  And maybe add in another cleaning and hell, even another cleaning.  I'm talking furniture-moving, window-washing, brooms to the cobwebs, floor scrubbing by hand, hardwood refinishing, cupboard washing, fridge moving kinda cleaning.  It was epic.  

Somewhere in the middle of all that, I did manage to squeak out to take 3 out of my 4 nieces to see Monsters vs Aliens with my friend Richard and his 2 little girls.  After the movie we treated them to a visit at Mimi & Lulu's and then cookies at Books & Beans.  We might have been the heroes of the weekend in their eyes I think.

Seriously -- cleaning x 1000.  And we didn't even finish it all.  Blerg.
