• Dinosaur Jr's "Hand It Over" record has the best inside cover sleeve photo EVER;
• Only a Canadian band could write a song that masterfully includes the lyrics "Hurry, hurry hard" and have their audience 100% understand it;
• Let's have a White Wires appreciation moment -- THEY ARE SO GOOD!! "Girly Girly Girly" is the best song title I've heard in a long while;
• I kinda like the guitar player for The Joliettes.  I might marry him and travel to Ottawa with him this weekend to see him play at Gaga Fest;
• Speaking of vampires - True Blood starts next week!!

• The Shangri-las beat out The Byrds tonight in our 45 Death Match.  Like "Leader of the Pack" would lose out to anything;
