Notes this week:
- What's better than Sonic Youth? Sonic Youth with Kim Deal vocals.....
- If only everyday was a bit like Parklife;
- Oh Peter Bjorn and John....Amsterdam really is just pop perfection;
- Happy Birthday Sean - here's some Nick Cave;
- Liquor In The Front.......teeheeteehee....
- If I could snap my fingers and magically reunite a Canadian band from my youth it would be Plumtree, hands down. I only got to see them once in the late 90's at the Townehouse with about 5 other people. They played with a giant stuffed pig that belonged to uber-character local musician Johnny Sizzle. What a great show.

This is why I love you so - I agree 800%. That show they did with the Salteens was one of my favourite shows ever.
Also, have you heard Bontempi? Lynette and Carla Gillis play in that band and a friend recommended them to me but I have yet to hear them.
I know!!!!! Seriously...not much better than that.
I haven't heard them at all but I'll so look them up.
